Terms of Use

Last updated: July 3, 2026 · POIS Tracker iOS app ("the app"), operated by Tiny Objects ("we", "us").

By downloading or using POIS Tracker you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Medical disclaimer

POIS Tracker is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. It is a personal tracking and pattern-exploration tool. Its suggestions, insights, evidence summaries and community information are informational only, are derived in part from your own self-reported entries and from community-reported experiences, and can be wrong. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting, stopping, or changing any treatment, and never disregard professional medical advice because of something in the app. If you may be experiencing a medical emergency, or are in crisis, contact your local emergency services immediately.

Eligibility

You must be 16 years or older to use POIS Tracker. The app asks for your birth year during onboarding and does not permit use below 16. By using the app you confirm the age information you provide is accurate.

Your account and your data

The app asks for an email address to create an account. There is no password; the account currently exists on your device to manage your subscription and to enable future features.
Your logged data is stored only on your device (see the Privacy Policy). We cannot access, recover, or restore it. If you delete the app, delete your account, or lose the device without a backup, your data is gone. Keeping a device backup (iCloud or computer) is your responsibility.
You may delete your account and all data at any time from within the app (Settings → Profile → Delete account). This is immediate and irreversible.
You are responsible for securing your device (passcode, Face ID) and for activity that occurs on it.

Subscriptions, billing and trials

POIS Tracker requires an auto-renewable subscription (monthly or annual). Current pricing is always shown in the app before purchase.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. We never receive your payment details.
If a free trial is offered (e.g. on the annual plan), it converts to a paid subscription unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel at any time in your Apple ID subscription settings (also reachable from the app: Settings → Profile → Manage subscription).
Refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store terms; we cannot issue them directly.
Cancelling stops future charges but does not delete your on-device data.

Community contributions

Contributing to community insights is optional, off by default, and available only to confirmed adults after an explicit consent screen.
If you contribute, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to use the anonymised summary statistics you submit — never your raw entries — to build and display aggregate community statistics. These carry no identifiers and cannot be traced back to you.
You can withdraw consent at any time in Settings. Withdrawal stops future contributions, deletes anything still queued on your device, and requests deletion of contributions you already sent (via the one-time token stored on your device). Results already published in aggregate, non-identifiable form before your withdrawal cannot be extracted from the aggregate and may remain.
If you mark a personal trial as shared, only its coarse, non-identifying summary is shared. Your trial's name, your notes, and its calendar dates stay on your device and are never shared.
You agree to contribute honestly — community insights only work if the underlying reports are genuine.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the app: no unlawful use, no attempting to probe, overload or disrupt any service we may operate, no reverse engineering except where permitted by law, and no use of the app's content to present unverified health claims as established fact.

Intellectual property

The app, its design, its knowledge base and its content (excluding your own entries) are owned by Tiny Objects and licensed — not sold — to you for personal, non-commercial use on Apple-branded devices that you own or control. Your own entries are yours.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of insights. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the app. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, and nothing affects statutory consumer rights in your country of residence.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms. You may stop using the app at any time; deleting your account removes your data from the device.

Apple

These Terms are between you and Tiny Objects, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app and is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

Changes

We may update these Terms. For material changes we will update the "Last updated" date and flag the change in the app; continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer resident in the EU/EEA or UK, you also benefit from any mandatory protections of the law of your country of residence.
